Jody King

My name is Jody King, I am a Pacific Northwest artist that specializes in digital cute art. Specifically, in Dungeons and Dragons themed vinyl stickers. When I discovered procreate and purchased an ipad about 2 years ago, there was no stopping me. This is my absolute favorite platform to design in because I can design and illustrate from anywhere and at any time and that's exactly what I've been doing ever since.

I am a mother to a 4 year old and up until a couple months ago, I had a 9-5 career in state government. I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that has taken me out of being able to work that 9-5 and that requires me to work when I have the energy and time. Illustrating has given me that flexibility. Starting this journey in art has been terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. It truly is where my passion lies. My illness has been the biggest blessing in disguise because it allowed me to look deep within and really question what do I need to do with my life that I can provide for my family as well as focus on my physical and mental health while doing so. That was art. Creating my own brand and working on my own art and following it where ever passion takes me.

I have both the conceptual artist education background as well as my love for adorable, nerdy and dark things. I like to think my art is an expression of just that; cute meets creepy.
