Kait Merryman

My name is Kait and I am a 23 year old Graphic Artist based out of Tampa, Florida. I have been an artist since I entered this world. I started out winning awards for my artwork and gaining several publications all through school, but my career art journey began straight out of high school 4 years ago in 2018 when I landed a job as a Graphic Designer at a custom t-shirt shop.

As my passion for art grew, I was able to work my way up into a corporate job creating artwork for apparel (while in community college full time for design. 2019 was a busy year). While I have learned so much from the corporate world in the past four years, I felt like it was time for me to use my skills for something more fulfilling- which is why I took a leap of faith to start my business in May of 2022.

My goal is to use my passion for art to help others 1:1 and create beautiful visuals for their own content and businesses while educating the world about the art industry that I have grown to become so heavily involved in.

This is also the reason why I started my Art-Industry podcast, Art-Wise. I genuinely feel that the reason I was put on the Earth is to share my love for the arts and to help spread that love in an effective way that truly helps others find success in their own businesses through brand strategy and other strategic art forms. Art-Wise was created to be a free resource for artists to not only promote themselves but to navigate and help each other on their individual journeys, and to help provide an avenue for non-artists to educate themselves on the creative world.
